Love the stair spindle with the candle and greens. Can you tell me where you got your candle lights at. They look sooo real
Dona says
Love these ideas. Where can you find $1-2 bouncy balls though? I’d really like to do this project but any I’ve found are much more expensive.
Judy says
I thought about those punching balls. You know the ones you blow up and close the end. Not sure how well they will work or if paint will adhere to their surface though.
Electra says
Dollar Tree in toys section only $1 each plus tax. Happy Holidays
Wanda says
Try dollar store for regular size bouncy ball and walmar t for big ones . Now you have to get them in the summertime .
Sue says
I also would love to do the bouncy ball project but can’t find inexpensive balls. Where did you get yours? All great ideas!!
Dennis Klimavich says
Very interested in finding the bouncy balls cheap also
prudentpennypincher.com says
Hi Dennis,
I’ve seen them $2.88 a piece at Walmart when they were on sale. The best time to find them on sale is during their clearance summer sale. Also, I occasionally see them at thrift stores for even cheaper (try your local children’s thrift stores). You may even be able to get them cheap if you buy in bulk online too.
Hope this helps,
Stephy

How do u put the ball and the dial rod togeather ?
Marty Swenskie says
A suggestion to try for the buttons…paint those little plastic 3-legged inserts used to keep pizzas from sticking to the box lid,,,,cut off the. Legs and glue in place after painting them. The same 3 legged inserts painted black also make perfect eyes/mouth embellments for real snowmen
prudentpennypincher.com says
That’s a great idea! And its very frugal too!
Veronica says
Right now if you have a Dirt cheap around they are $0.90 cents walmart had theirs for $1.00 you can also look at walmarts site and see if they have them in an area close to you or have them mailed to your store for pickup. Happy Holidays.
