Paint your shamrock with the chalk paint and let it dry. It may need two coats, but mine didn't.
Trace the shape of the one of the "hearts" on the back of your scrapbook paper with your pencil or pen and cut it out. It doesn't have to be a perfect match, but it's better to have excess paper on the sides than trim it down too much. We will trim it down more later.
Make 2 other copies of that heart shape on your scrapbook paper by using the first one as a template.
Brush the back of each piece of scrapbook paper with Mod Podge and align it with the heart shapes on the shamrock and press it down. Let it dry for a few minutes.
Take an x-acto knife and trim along the edges of the paper anywhere that isn't perfectly aligned.
Glue twine around the edges of the hearts using your hot glue gun. This is an optional step, but it adds some detail and hides any imperfections!
Loop twine around the holes at the top for hanging.
