Give your front door a makeover for fall with this easy DIY sunflower wreath with a burlap bow.

DIY sunflower wreath with florals and a burlap bow

This DIY fall wreath only takes about 30 minutes to make and requires only a few supplies (wreath form, sunflowers and a ribbon). I got the sunflower bushes from Michaels when they were on sale for 50% off and I got the ribbon from Hobby Lobby for $1.99 with a coupon. You could even use Dollar Tree sunflower bushes to save some money too!

This fall sunflower wreath was definitely a quick and easy fall decoration to put together that will give your front door a country chic look on a budget. Also, you can add some fall accents like pumpkins, maple leaves or mini pinecones to give this wreath a more traditional look for autumn.

Supplies Needed for this DIY Sunflower Wreath:

    • foam wreath form (mine is 10″ and came from Dollar Tree)
    • sunflower floral bushes (I used about 5, but this depends on the size of your sunflower bushes and the size of your wreath form and whether or not you want to cover the back of your wreath or not — I just did the front of mine.)
    • sunflower ribbon (here is a another cute one from Michaels)
    • hot glue gun and glue sticks
    • orange and/or yellow paint
    • paintbrush

Tutorial for this DIY Sunflower Wreath:

  1. Paint the wreath form orange or yellow and let it dry.
  2. Remove the sunflowers from all the bushes.
  3. Add the sunflowers to the wreath using hot glue.
  4. Make a bow out of the ribbon and attach it to the top of the wreath.
