These free printable tags are perfect for fall birthdays, teacher gifts, Thanksgiving favors, treat bags, and autumn care packages. Simply print your favorites, cut out the tags, punch the holes, and attach them with ribbon or twine.

Whether you are gifting a jar of homemade cookies, putting together a pumpkin-themed goodie bag, or thanking someone with a small seasonal surprise, these fall tags add a thoughtful finishing touch in just a few minutes.

What’s Included

This free printable set includes 36 fall tags across 4 pages. Each page contains nine unique designs, so you can choose the style/theme that best matches your gift.

The collection includes a colorful mix of:

  • Autumn leaves and leafy borders
  • Pumpkins and harvest illustrations
  • Fall gnomes
  • Floral wreaths
  • Pumpkin spice designs
  • Modern lettering and handwritten-style fonts

The designs include To and From lines, making it easy to personalize each tag for friends, family members, teachers, classmates, neighbors, or coworkers. A small outlined circle is included at the top of every tag to show where to punch the hole.

Supplies Needed

  • White cardstock
  • Color printer and printer ink
  • Scissors or a paper trimmer
  • Single-hole punch
  • Pen or fine-tip marker
  • Ribbon, baker’s twine, yarn, or string
  • Printable PDF file

For the best results, use white cardstock instead of regular printer paper. The heavier paper will make the tags sturdier and give them a more polished appearance.

  • Tie it around a loaf of pumpkin bread with baker’s twine.
  • Clip it to a treat bag with a miniature clothespin.
  • Tape it to the front of a bakery box.
  • Hang it from the handle of a gift bag.
  • Add it to a fall flower arrangement.
  • Use it as a place card at Thanksgiving dinner.
  • Add it to a small basket filled with cozy autumn treats.

For a rustic farmhouse look, use natural jute twine. Orange, burgundy, mustard yellow, brown, or gingham ribbon will create a brighter seasonal presentation.

Tips for the Best Results

  • Print on smooth white cardstock for bright, crisp colors.
  • Use a paper trimmer for straighter edges.
  • Cut just inside the dotted outline so it does not appear on the finished tag.
  • Reinforce the punched hole with a clear hole-reinforcement sticker when attaching the tag to a heavier gift.
  • Print extra sheets to keep on hand for last-minute gifts.

These free printable fall gift tags make it easy to turn a simple autumn treat into a warm and thoughtful gift. Choose your favorite leafy, pumpkin, harvest, or pumpkin spice design, personalize it, and add it to a cozy seasonal surprise for someone special.
