Decorate for halloween on a budget with this easy DIY dollar store halloween centerpiece. This DIY halloween decoration is perfect as halloween party decor idea. It only costs $6-7 dollars to make and takes less than 30 minutes from start to finish so it’s a great way to add some last minute halloween decor to your home.

All the supplies needed for this craft project can be found at Dollar Tree. It is a budget-friendly way to give your home a spooky touch for halloween. To make this halloween centerpiece:

    • just paint the jar
    • add the creepy cloth around them
    • attach them to the wood plank
    • add any accents that you want to!
    • The detailed instructions and supply list are included below.

Whether you want to put it in on your dining room table or on the dessert table at your halloween party, this is a versatile halloween decoration, which is also easily customizable. I was going for a black and white look, but you can add some purple for a pop of color. You could add ribbons, glittery branches in the back, gothic bouquets inside the mason jars, glitter spiders, witch hats, halloween picks, etc. There is a lot of room to take this dollar tree halloween craft and make it your own!

easy mason jar halloween centerpiece using Dolla Tree supplies
    Total Time25 mins
    Cost: $6

    Equipment

    • scissors
    • glue gun and glue sticks

    Materials

    • 3 craft jars
    • thin black glitter ribbon (optional)
    • white acrylic paint
    • scrap wood or wood plank
    • glitter skulls
    • glitter bat clips
    • creepy cloth
    • halloween metal word

    Instructions

    • Paint the jars white and paint the wood plank black. Let them dry.
    • Measure the circumference of the jars and cut out enough creepy cloth to drape around the jars.
    • Glue the creepy cloth onto the jars. I put glue down the middle in the back and attached both sides of the cloth to the jars.
    • Cut the ribbons so that they fit around the jar lids and glue them onto each of the lids.
    • Line up the craft jars along the wood plank. Once you have them aligned in the center, glue them down by gently tilting the bottoms of the jars and laying down the glue.
    • Glue on your accents like glitter bats, metal word, glitter skulls, etc.

    Have a Spooktacular Halloween!
